Apple said the new iMac offers a significant boost in performance, making it up to 1.7 times faster for everyday tasks and up to 2.1 times faster for demanding workflows such as photo editing and gaming compared to its predecessor, the M1 model. This leap in capability is complemented by the Neural Engine, which enhances AI-driven tasks, making the iMac the world’s leading all-in-one for AI applications.
Apple has retained the iMac’s strikingly thin design, now available in fresh colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.

Each iMac comes with colour-matched accessories, including a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, now equipped with USB-C ports for seamless connectivity.

Advanced Features
The 24-inch 4.5K Retina display now includes a nano-texture glass option, which is said to reduce glare and reflections while maintaining image quality. Video calls are elevated, per Apple, with a new 12MP Center Stage camera, which keeps participants perfectly centred and introduces Desk View for sharing a top-down view of the workspace.
Connectivity is enhanced with four USB-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 4, enabling superfast data transfers and the connection of up to two 6K external displays. The iMac also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring fast and reliable wireless connections.

Apple Intelligence and macOS Sequoia
Apple Intelligence marks a new era for Mac, combining powerful generative models with industry-first privacy protections. It includes systemwide Writing Tools and a redesigned Siri that integrates ChatGPT for enhanced user interaction. These features will be available in December, with more capabilities rolling out throughout the year.

The iMac runs on macOS Sequoia, which introduces features like iPhone Mirroring, an improved Safari browser, and immersive gaming experiences. Users can also enjoy new video call backgrounds and a comprehensive Passwords app.
Availability
The new iMac starts at ₹1,34,900, with pre-orders available today and shipping beginning November 8.
