Jai Hanuman First Look: Rishab Shetty looks promising and powerful as Lord Hanuman

Post the humongous success of Hanu-Man, the makers are now all geared up for the release of its sequel, Jai Hanuman. Recently, they unveiled the first look featuring Kantara fame Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman. Prasanth Varma, who has directed Jai Hanuman, shared the first look of the film on social media platform X.

In the image, Shetty is seen carrying an idol of Lord Rama inside what appears to be a temple. He dons a red traditional attire as the bearded sage.

The actor also shared the first look on X and wrote, “A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga. We bring forth an epic of loyalty, courage and devotion. Extremely happy to collaborate with Director @prasanthvarma and Producers @mythriofficial.”

In reply to Shetty, a post on the production banner’s X handle read, “Your epic vision will surely make our #JaiHanuman one of the most memorable films in Indian Cinema #JaiHanuman”.

Being touted as a superhero action film, ‘Jai Hanuman’ will depict Kaliyuga wherein Lord Hanuman lives in Agyathavas, an exile which is bound by a sacred oath.

The upcoming film is a part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), while Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are serving as its co-producers. A release date for the epic action film is yet to be finalised.

Hanu-Man, which was released in January this year, was helmed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Primeshow Entertainment. It featured Teja Sajja in the title role.

He was joined by Amritha Aiyer, Samuthirakani, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai and Vennela Kishore among others.

The film was set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, while the story followed the journey of Hanumanthu, who gains the special powers of Lord Hanuman to protect the people of Anjanadri. He is pitted against Michael after encountering a mysterious gem.
