“Glad to have celebrated Diwali with our brave personnel from the BSF, Army, Navy, and Air Force at Lakki Nala in the Creek Area, Kutch. This area is both challenging and remote. The days are scorching hot and it also gets cold. The Creek area has other environmental challenges as well,” Modi said in an X post.

Earlier in the day, the PM attended the Ekta Diwas Parade at Kevadia. “Attended the Ekta Diwas Parade at Kevadia, celebrating the strength and togetherness of our nation. The spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ resonates strongly in all our minds!” he said.
He also paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, commemorating the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister, celebrated as National Unity Day.
“Paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia. India is deeply motivated by his vision and unwavering commitment to our nation. His efforts continue to inspire us to work towards a stronger nation,” the PM said.
While addressing the soldiers after celebrating Diwali with them in Kutch region, Modi said, “Today, Bharat cannot compromise on even an inch of its borders. That’s why our policies are aligned with the resolve of our armed forces.”
“We trust the determination of our soldiers, not the words of our enemies.” People of India feel their country is safe because of you (soldiers), Modi said.
“When the world sees you, it sees India’s strength, but when the enemies see you, they see the end of their sinister plans,” he said to the soldiers.
