- MacBook Pro, Mac mini: Apple, this week, introduced its latest MacBook Pro models, including the all-new M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips. The company has also increased the base RAM on all its MacBooks to 16 GB, while the prices and storage variants remain unchanged. The base model includes the M4 chip, powered by an 8-core GPU and 16GB RAM. It starts at ₹1,69,900 and goes up to ₹3,99,900.
The tech giant also unveiled the new Mac mini powered by M4 and M4 Pro chipsets. Measuring 5×5 inches, the latest device is touted as the company’s first carbon-neutral Mac. The new Mac mini offers up to 1.8 times faster CPU performance as well as 2.2 times faster GPU performance compared with earlier models. It starts at ₹59,900 for the M4 model, while the M4 Pro model will come for ₹1,49,900.
- OnePlus 13: OnePlus will unveil its OnePlus 13 smartphone on Thursday. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 6,000 mAh battery, the handset comes with up to 24GB RAM for top-class performance. Further, it supports a 6.82-inch display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50 MP triple-camera setup.
The smartphone supports an astonishing 100W wired charging, besides the 50W magnetic wireless charging, thereby offering quick power-ups to customers.
3. Xiaomi 15 series: Xiaomi this week launched the new flagship series, including the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones, in China. Boosted by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the latest smartphones promise a major improvement in cameras, besides larger batteries, and faster processing capabilities. While the Xiaomi 15 phone comes with a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display, the Pro model offers a larger 6.73-inch 2K micro-curved OLED screen. Both of them run on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, out of the box.
- Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition: In a unique update, Nothing this week introduced a glow-in-the-dark Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition that has been specially designed in collaboration with the fan community.
The special edition smartphone will be available for ₹29,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, with priority access to its community members starting from November 12 onwards. However, it must be noted that only 1,000 units will be available globally.
- iOS 18.1 Update: Apple has started rolling out the latest iOS 18.1 update that introduces users to the first set of Apple Intelligence features, including a smarter Siri and several AI updates.
While the iOS 18.1 is for all eligible Apple products, the Apple Intelligence is currently exclusive to only iPhone 15 Pro models and the latest iPhone 16 models.
