The Rohit Shetty directorial, which opened with a net of ₹43.5 crore, had a successful Diwali weekend. It became Ajay Devgn’s best-performing film in the first three days, collecting ₹42.5 crore on day 2, followed by ₹35.75 crore on day 3. On its first Monday, it dropped to approximately ₹17.50 crore. In four days, Singham Again earned a total of ₹139.25 crore.
The cop drama had an overall 33.78% Hindi occupancy in the domestic market on Monday. The film’s viewership increased gradually throughout the day, beginning at 16.53% for morning shows and peaking at 46.18% for night shows.
The overall occupancy in Mumbai was 42.75% in 976 shows, while in the National Capital Region (NCR), the occupancy rate was 19.00% in 1152 shows.
Earlier, Rohit Shetty shared a picture of him on Instagram, in which he is seen standing against the backdrop of the film’s poster. He also thanked the audience for their love and support. “SINGHAM AGAIN my 10th and fastest 100 cr film. For the past 16 films one thing that has remained constant is your love, thank you for all the support and love, humbled,” he wrote in the caption.
Singham Again was released on Friday, November 1 and clashed with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The sequel to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise is also doing wonders at the box office.
Singham Again marks the third instalment of the super-hit franchise. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and Ranveer Singh. Salman Khan’s cameo has added more star power to the film.
