At a joint press conference in Mumbai on Saturday, Shivakumar stated that the leaders gathered to highlight their achievements and expressed surprise at the BJP allies’ alleged false advertisement. He also said that the BJP is copy our scheme.
“All three of us are here to explain and show what we have committed, what we have promised, and what we have delivered. I was shocked to hear that the BJP allies had run a big false advertisement yesterday. Today, I have come here, not only to show what we have delivered,” he told the reporters.

The Karnataka Deputy CM also invited the Mahayuti government to visit his state and see what they have delivered. He said, “I have come here to invite all the three parties, BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena leaders who are running this Mahayuti government, to visit them to Karnataka so that they can see what we have promised, what we have delivered and how our five guarantees have benefited the people of Karnataka.”
He also emphasised that their focus was on development and not on votes. Shivakumar said, “We have looked at only the development of the people, we are not looking at the votes, we want to develop the people of the state and we want to develop the people of the country. We are not looking at emotions; we are looking purely at the development.”
He also pointed out that the BJP has started implementing guarantees initially proposed by the Congress, stating, “Now, they (BJP) have started implementing the guarantee that came out from the Congress. Whatever the Congress party has done, the BJP is copying us and trying to help the people. I don’t want to comment on their schemes, but whatever we have committed, we are delivering.”

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy also criticised the BJP government, saying they were lying about Telangana and their policies. “BJP and their allies were saying wrong things about Telangana for the last few days, we didn’t pay attention to that. But when PM Modi started lying about Telangana and our policies, I thought we would speak the truth… In India, Maharashtra is the state where the most numbers of farmers commit suicide… By bringing in three black laws against farmers, PM Modi wanted to leave the farmers in the hands of Adani and Ambani,” he said, as reported by news agency ANI.
