Godfrey Phillips India, the flagship entity of Modi Enterprises – KK Modi Group, has appointed Vishal Dhariwal as its Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2025.
This transition follows the current CFO, Sunil Agrawal, moving to an advisory role focused on strategic and business matters. Agrawal will remain part of the senior management team.
Dhariwal, who joined Godfrey Phillips in June 2022, brings nearly 19 years of experience across finance and audit. Known for his dynamic and results-oriented approach, Dhariwal has expertise in auditing, commercial finance, P&L management, cost optimization, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, accounting and controls, corporate restructuring, governance, and compliance.
Before joining the company, he was a Partner in Assurance Services at S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP, part of the Ernst & Young network. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune.
In addition to Dhariwal’s appointment, Godfrey Phillips also announced the appointment of Pumit Kumar Chellaramani as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer and Avtar Singh Monga as an additional director.
