Rao Satellite Centre in Bengaluru, Vice-President Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar celebrated Women’s Day with scientists, highlighting women’s significant leadership role.
He acknowledged ISRO’s global achievements, such as Chandrayan-3 and satellite launches, showcasing India’s scientific prowess. He recognized ISRO’s vital contributions to disaster management and government programs. Emphasizing the role of space exploration in realizing Viksit Bharat 2047, he lauded ISRO for enhancing India’s global diplomacy and soft power. The Governor of Karnataka, Mr. Thawar Chand Gehlot, Chairman of ISRO, Mr. Sreedhara Panicker Somnath, and other dignitaries attended the event in person and through video conferencing.
