Four teams from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, secured rankings in the global top 150 in the Bloomberg’s Trading Challenge 2024 virtual investment competition, held from October 7 to November 15.
Two teams from the Department of Professional Studies ranked 4 and 15; the School of Business Management and the Department of Commerce were ranked 5 and 67, respectively.
Christ students competed against 2,450 teams from over 300 universities across 46 countries.
With many courses seamlessly integrated with Bloomberg Terminals, students gained practical expertise in navigating the platform, a critical factor in their exceptional performance. Workshops, mentorship programmes, and real-world exposure further prepared them to thrive in competitive global arenas, the University in a release stated.
