Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi noted that the India-US comprehensive global strategic partnership has made significant progress in various sectors, including technology and defence, following a meeting with US National Security Advisor Mr. Jake Sullivan, who is visiting India ahead of Mr. Donald Trump’s inauguration. Mr. Modi expressed his pleasure in meeting Sullivan and highlighted the partnership’s advancements in technology, defence, space, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence.
He emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen ties for the benefit of both nations and the global community. Sullivan engaged in extensive discussions with Indian officials, focusing on the US-India Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET), which aims to enhance collaboration in critical technologies. This visit follows a recent trip by India’s External Affairs Minister to the US.
