A total of 330 students of Class XI from schools on Thiruvottiyur High Road and Buddha Street were taken on an educational tour on Friday.
The students visited Sholinganallur Aavin Milk Factory, Periyar Science and Technology Centre in Kotturpuram, Anna Centenary Library, and Birla Planetarium.
The initiative was part of a programme announced in the financial statement to provide students with learning experiences outside classrooms.
Additionally, 5,444 students will go on tours, with batches scheduled for January 11, January 22, and in February.
In the 2023-24 academic year, 5,200 Class XI students visited facilities in Ambattur, Madhavaram, and Sholinganallur.
