The G580 EQ will also be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo, underscoring the automaker’s commitment to electric mobility in India.
G580 EQ Edition One
The G580 EQ brings the iconic G-Class into the electric era. Retaining its rugged design and off-road capabilities, the SUV is powered by four electric motors—two at the front and two at the rear—delivering 587 hp and 1,164 Nm of torque. The G580 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. It features a 116 kWh battery pack offering a range of 386 km and supports fast charging up to 200 kW, recharging the battery in 32 minutes.

Built for adventure, the G580 boasts a water-wading depth of 850 mm, the ability to climb 45-degree inclines, and a G-TURN function that allows 720-degree rotations on the spot. It retains the signature G-Class design, including circular LED headlights and a rear-mounted storage box for charging cables. Inside, it offers two 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and digital instruments, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, wireless charging, and a Burmester sound system. Priced at ₹3 crore (ex-showroom), the G580 EQ is set to appeal to a niche market of luxury off-road enthusiasts.
EQS SUV 450
The locally assembled EQS SUV 450 is positioned as a more accessible luxury EV. Equipped with dual electric motors producing 360 hp and 800 Nm of torque, the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The model features a 5-seat configuration, a spacious interior with advanced technology, and a modern design. Key highlights include the MBUX Hyperscreen, HEPA filtration for improved air quality, and various comfort-enhancing features.
With a price of ₹1.28 crore (ex-showroom), the EQS SUV 450 targets eco-conscious luxury buyers in India, offering a blend of sustainability and practicality.
