Daniel Araujo, Head of Sustainability Management Office at Samsung Electronics, highlighted the company’s commitment to integrating sustainable practices throughout the product lifecycle.
The move to use recycled cobalt aims to reduce reliance on newly mined cobalt, addressing both environmental and supply chain concerns. Cobalt is a critical component in lithium-ion batteries, and its extraction has raised ethical and environmental issues.

The Galaxy S25 series are currently up for pre-order and will go on open sale from February 7.
