1.’Middle class first’: Addressing a group of local union workers in Wisconsin, on Friday, Harris said, “I will always put the middle class first”. She added that her priority will be to bring down the cost of living, besides investing in industries like steel and iron as well as new manufacturing opportunities to build things like solar panels. 2. Harris attacks Trump: In Milwaukee, Harris held a rally where she stated that she would focus on carrying out her campaign promises if she gets elected on November 5. Also, she warned people that her opponent (Trump) will focus on retribution if he gets to the White House again. “It’s either going to be him there on day one, walking into that office, stewing over his enemies list or when I am elected walking in on your behalf with my to-do list,” CNN quoted Harris as saying. 3. Cardi B endorses Harris: Harris’ final rally in Milwaukee witnessed a slew of celebrities endorsing the US Vice President, alongside performances by rappers Flo Milli and Glorilla. Harris ‘changed my mind’: While endorsing Harris, Cardi B told the crowd that initially she was planning not to vote in the presidential election until the US Vice President joined the race. “I wasn’t gonna vote this year, I wasn’t,” she said, adding that the candidature of Harris changed her mind completely. “I did not have faith in any candidates until she joined the race and said the things that I wanted to hear, that I want to see next in this country,” she added. Cardi B calls Trump ‘hustler’: Attacking the former US president, Cardi B called Trump ‘a hustler’ and said that he hustles “women out of their rights to their bodies” as well as “Americans out of their hard-earned money”.
