Since 2010, VFS Global has managed over 8.5 million visa applications for the Finnish government, according to a statement share by the company. The services will continue to operate in 10 global regions including South Asia, the Americas, Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East, North Africa, Africa, Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Russia.

Recently, VFS Global said that starting December 2024, it will offer electronic visas on arrival in Indonesia for travellers from India and 96 other nations. The Directorate General of Immigration, part of Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights, has appointed VFS Global as the exclusive private provider for the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA). This initiative is designed to simplify the visa application process, enhance inbound tourism, and attract greater investment to Indonesia, as stated by the company.
