The film’s debut weekend saw a remarkable opening and has sustained the momentum. Given the positive word-of-mouth and favourable reviews, the film will continue to perform well at the box office. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 faced a major clash with Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again, which grossed ₹139.25 crore net in India.
The film made a collection of ₹35.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹37 crore on Saturday and ₹33.5 crore on its third day (Sunday). With these figures, the film ended its debut weekend at an estimated ₹106 crore at the domestic box office.
The film had an overall 41.08% Hindi occupancy on Monday. Its performance varied across show timings, with the night shows proving to be the most popular with an occupancy rate of 51.96%. The morning, afternoon and night shows saw an occupancy of 21.67%, 41.83% and 48.84% respectively.
In Mumbai, with 819 shows, the occupancy stood at 52.50% for the fourth day. In the NCR, with 985 shows, the overall occupancy was 30.75%.
Earlier in a social media post, Aryan described the film as achieving “one of the fastest ₹100 crore collections.” He wrote, “ROOH BABA ON CLOUD 100. ONE OF THE FASTEST 100 CRORES in just 3 days !! Thank you Janta Janardhan for the blockbuster love !! #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 in Theatres.”
The film marks the third instalment in the super-hit franchise, after Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022). The Anees Bazmee directorial also stars Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and several others.
